PAT Testing

The Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) places an obligation on the employer / Responsible Person to ensure all electrical appliances are safe and fit for purpose.

PAT Testing which is short for Portable Appliance Testing is the testing of appliances in your Northern Ireland  home or business, such as microwaves, toasters, portable heaters etc.

All appliances are checked for faults, which may relate to a possible dangerous condition that wouldn’t be picked up on with just a visual inspection.
